About Alley Wars
Alley Wars is a first-person 3D shooter played online in the alleys of Cairo's Khan el-Khalili bazaar: a mosque courtyard with a fountain in the middle, four narrow alleys under stone arches, bazaar streets lined with stalls and awnings, and high roof terraces reached by ramps from the corner squares.
Make a room and you get a 5-digit number to send your friends on WhatsApp or read out loud, and they join with it. The match starts straight away, bots fill the empty places up to 8 players, and each friend who joins takes a bot's place. First to 25 kills wins, and if the 6 minutes run out the top score takes it.
There are no names and no chat: every player is just a number, so it stays safe. Practice against bots works with no internet at all. For now the fighters are robots that shatter into pieces with no blood.
How to play
- Press "Play now", then practice with bots or make an online room.
- If you made a room, press "Send to friends" to share the number, or a friend types it under "Join a friend's room".
- On a computer, click the game to lock the mouse; on a phone use the stick and the buttons.
- Move from cover to cover and aim before the shots that matter.
- Grab health and ammo, and reach 25 kills before everyone else.

Tips to win
- The roof terraces look down on the alleys below, but everyone down there can see you too.
- The alleys between the courtyard and the streets are tight: the shotgun rules there.
- Headshots do roughly double damage.
- Your health comes back on its own after five seconds out of the fight.
